Schnell und spaßig

Die Musik zum digitalen Takeshis Castle von Jukio Kallio & Daniel Hagström klingt wie das kunterbunt aufgedrehte Liebesspiel zwischen Sims und Need for Speed, zwischen Feel Good und Action, zwischen ‚lass uns Freunde sein‘ und ‚ich halts nicht aus‘. Schnelle Melodien und verspielte Synthies auf durchweg gutem Niveau machen diesen Electro-Exzess zum perfekten Eimer des Fall Guys-Arsch. Ereignisungebunden könnte die Mucke dagegen durchaus einen Nervfaktor entwickeln.
Durch das Game as a Service-Modell erscheint auch heute noch neue Musik für das Spiel, weshalb der dazugehörige Score, wie schon bei League of Legends, in Seasons aufgeteilt wird. Dem Fan-Wiki zufolge bekommt Fall Guys jedoch pro Season zwischen einem und fünf neue Tracks spendiert – das ist mir zu wenig, um dafür jedes mal einen neuen Abschnitt zu machen. Deshalb kurz zusammengefasst:
Jede Season dreht sich um eine anderes Themengebiet. Bei der ersten Season 2 (Legacy) geht’s ums Mittelalter, Season 3 (Legacy) Weihnachten, Season 4 (Legacy) Zukunft usw. Entsprechend ändert sich die Ausprägung und Ausgestaltung der einzelnen Themes und Tracks in der jeweiligen Staffel, einen krassen Stilbruch darf man bei Fall Guys nicht erwarten.
Wer also gerade noch musikalische Untermalung für den nächsten LSD-befeuerten Kindergeburtstag der 7-jährigen Nichte sucht oder sich generell einfach durch zu viel Ruhe und Entspannung in seinem Leben gestört fühlt, darf sich die Tracks auf die Ohren geben. Für alle anderen lässt sich der OST am ehesten unter ’nice to have‘ abspeichern.
