Top soundtracks from 2000
I love top lists. After all, there is probably nothing more controversial, as it is ultimate, than a numerical list of your own preferences. The problem with this is that ranking them takes a lot of time and preparation. After all, you not only have to find a contingent of winners, but also comprehensively record the field of participants from which they emerge. This is probably the main reason why I created my last list a solid year ago. Fortunately, a lot has happened technologically in the meantime! So I asked Chat-GPT to put together a quick list of the top 10 video game scores for games released in the year 2000.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
Von kaum einem anderen Game habe ich so viel geschwärmt wie von Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Rückblickend betrachtet vielleicht etwas zu viel? Es ist ein gutes Spiel, keine Frage, aber verdient es meine Lobhudeleien? Ich versuche mich an einem neutraleren Rückblick, heute, 13 Jahre nach dem ursprünglichen Release. Um nicht repetitiv zu werden, verlinke ich unten mal die Folge WohnGameinschaft, einem Uniprojekt, in dem wir versucht haben, dummdreist GameTwo zu kopieren – oder, um es korrekter auszudrücken, uns davon haben inspirieren lassen. Might and Magic: Heroes VI
Disclaimer: I did edit this review, which I wrote back in 2014, I guess. Some of the information is outdated, but I'm too lazy to fact check everything - or anything for that matter. In its core, the points of critics within this review still hold true though. Happy reading! I doubt that everyone is familiar with what the Might-and-Magic-series is about, so I'll give a short explanation on how the game works, what's different in this title and, of course, my opinion. For anyone who does know what to expect of a Heroes-of-Might-and-Magic-game, I can already cut to the chase: It's better than IV, worse
