    Antichamber

Whilst Antichamber is not the studio where The Biggest Loser was recorded, it is a Portal-branded puzzle game that has been on my pile of shame for some time. As is customary in the genre, we have to wrap our heads around the puzzle and come up with absurd solutions so that, at the end, we can proudly proclaim that we were clever enough to solve the puzzle, while skillfully ignoring the fact that we are still much dumber than the actual programmers who not only came up with the whole thing, but also cast it in playable form.

    Sacred

Sacred dates back to 2004 and is therefore officially old - which doesn't bode well for me, as I was born in 1992. But unlike many other games from that time, even back then Sacred had already looked out of date and the years really haven't done the German Diablo clone any good visually. Ironically, I would still prefer to play the progenitor again today instead of the successors, of which the third game in particular should only have a few fans. However, if you want good hack-and-slay, you're better off with other series and probably even better with the genre primus Diablo.

    Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

The Walking Dead: Season 3 – A New Frontier

This will be a short review for several reasons. Firstly, I can't say much about the actual game other than that much remains the same. Anyone who has played Telltale's predecessors knows what to expect: interesting characters and a story full of twists and turns, but one that ultimately implies more freedom than is actually given. In the end, the decisions made only have a marginal effect, and anyone expecting entertaining drama will be disappointed. Although it is nice to start with a fresh cast after the two predecessors, shaking your head over the outlandish story is once again part of the tone of Season 3.

    Counter-Strike: Source
